Thank goodness the rain held until after our Halloween Parade. The children had a great time walking with their reading buddies, looking at costumes and proudly sharing theirs. Many thanks to Jen for organizing our Halloween party and for the numerous parents who ran the centers. The children enjoyed the activities and their friends.

It's always a great experience for children to plant a garden, watch it grow, harvest it and then consume it. I must say our healthy garden salad was enjoyed by most of the children. Thanks for sending in such a wide variety of ingredients and thank to the Granthoms for providing the plant.

Everyone starts RTI on Monday. Ask your child about it when they/you get home.

Math: We will be starting Module 2 so look for the homework packet to come home. Your children will benefit from completing the homework pages that correspond to the lessons I teach. I try to teach one a day, but here and there I'm unable. Look for the lessons to come home, or if you desire, you can keep ahead of me and try to pre-teach.

Www: but, called, than, them, there

Colton has moved and although we will all miss Colton very much, we are happy that he and his mom have the opportunity to move to San Diego. Colton spoke very positively about the possibility that he might move there and we wish him our best. Your children wrote very sweet letters to him and the school will be forwarding these to him.
