Our year is coming to a close. It has been fun learning about celebrations around the world over the past two weeks. Your children will be bringing home a book about the various celebrations of which we have read. 

Jen Christensen has been working hard to put together a fun party for the children this coming Friday, but she can't do it without parent help. Over the break I encourage all of you to continue daily reading and have your child practice their writing by writing thank you notes. Games frequently use dice or cards which is a great way to practice addition. Another great way to support your child in math is to complete any homework pages that have already been taught. It would be a great review and help them when they return in January.

Enjoy the holidays with family and friends. Travel safely, laugh a lot and include lots of hugs and kisses.
