Ask your child about our "Grand Conversations". In RTI we read a book titled "Not Norman" as well as either a book about Diabetes or Differences. In class we read "Mr. Peabody's Apples". We had grand conversations discussing those books. The children seemed to enjoy the activity and I felt like they got a lot out of it as well.

We wrote and illustrated a class book titled "If You give Lucky a Lollipop". This story will be submitted to the Student Authors' Fair on April 30, at the Mall. The children then wrote or co-wrote their own stories. I have to say without any guidance, except for reading a multitude of "If You Give..." stories, their stories were quite good.

PJ Day was a blast. We started the morning out with a very inspiring talent show. The children loved reading with friends and with their animals. Hazel created a PJ Day graph and ran the entire activity with her friends. It was fun for the children and I enjoyed watching their participation.

Please send the Leprechaun traps in on Wednesday morning. We will set them up and hope we catch some leprechauns.

With all of the colds and runny noses my tissue supply is running low. If you are able to send in a box or two, I'd really appreciate it.
