Many special thanks for the sensational birthday gift and for making my birthday so special!!! I can't wait to shop at REI and Amazon, and to enjoy my yummy treats! It was sweet when Liz had the children tell me what they like about me. Hearing their words was pretty touching. I'm glad you are all a part of my life.
We have learned about Old Befana (a legend from Italy), Japanese New Years and mochi, and Hanukkah. We will continue to learn about Kwanzaa, Chinese New Years and Diwali.
Our holiday celebration will be on Thursday, Dec. 22 at 11:25-12:25. Right after the celebration we will follow up with a 15 minute Writing Workshop celebration. I hope many of you can make it to listen to your child read their story to you. If you are unable to make it, no worries, there will be plenty of parents ready to listen to your child's story.
