Supporting Our School

• Our class had high participation in the Read-A-Thon, Thanks to everyone for having your child read.
• Box Tops are another way to support the school and you don't need to spend any extra money, just look for the labels on items you already purchase. 
• thanks for all of the Pennies for Patients boxes that have come in to date.

Upcoming Field Trip

• First grade is looking at a field trip in April. Help us get ready by filling out the appropriate Volunteer Driver forms in advance, if you think you would be interested in driving. Your fingerprints and TB test will also need to be filed in the district office in order to drive. Information for the trip and dates are not set yet. I will let you know the details as soon as we have all of the info. Thank you for your patience.

What's Happening

• We are finishing up our non-fiction writing about our special Americans. The children have been working very hard on their writing and are taking one piece to publication.
• We are finishing our current Engage New York place value to 20 math unit. 
• Please remember that Lexia and Moby Max (Phonics and math web based programs) are free and available for your child to use at home. 
• We harvested and cooked our chard and are getting ready to harvest our cabbage and plant a spring garden.
• Yearbooks orders are still being collected.
