When people think of May 5, they often think of Cinco de Mayo, but it is also Japanese Children's Day. Enjoy the attachments of us flying Japanese koi at Rio. We are wishing for wind!
We are on our habitat posters and math module 6. Our next lesson is 11.
We are getting ready for Open House which is at 6:30 on Thursday, May 12. The whole family is welcome and I look forward to seeing you. We will be celebrating everyone's birthday the following day, Friday, May 13, at the park. Jen Greene, Jesse's mom, has offered to bring pizza for the class. If you would like to contribute fruit, veggies, a treat, drinks, time to set up, clean up... please reply all. Feel free to join us at the RDM park at the school, we will be there around 10:50-11:45. Siblings can come as well since we will be at the park.
I am in need of stickers for stories. The children will be writing stories, so stickers that lend themselves to writing about a character would be great. I have quite a few stickers that my boys would enjoy, but not so many that I think would appeal to the girls.
