Fall is here and our class garden is beautiful!!! Stop by to see the large number of veggies that our class planted with Jackson and Olivia's mom's. How many are you able to identify? We also have a root viewer in our room.
Your children are applying their knowledge of summarizing and writing to produce a story of their own. We look forward to sharing them with you. Ask your child to tell you about their Sequel to Jasper's Beanstalk story. They should be able to tell you the beginning, middle and end and include the characters, setting, problem and solution.
We are almost through with the Mystery Person and Star of the Week starts on October 5 with Konie. Please make sure you take a look at the schedule on my blog. If you change dates with anyone, please let me know.
Field Trip: Our first field trip to SunRidge Farms is scheduled for Friday, October 9. We plan to leave school first thing in the morning and be back at school by 10:45ish. Permission slips were sent home today so be sure to fill out and send back in. *Thank you in advance if you can drive! Be sure that your paperwork is up to date, and your fingerprints/TB test are current. On the field trip day you will need to send in your child's booster seat.
